Actor Ronny Cox has played some of the nastiest bad guys in film history, but he also has a parallel career as a folk-influenced country singer. Cox has several albums featuring his genial, storytelling style that recalls peers Tom Russell, Marty Robbins, Woody Guthrie and son Arlo, and Utah Phillips. This double-CD live set features Cox at ease with the crowd, making with engaging between-song patter, and his band providing appropriately easygoing accompaniment.
